The Walther Meißner Institute contributes to the Open House Event 2011 (Tag der offenen Tür) at the Research Campus Garching by an attractive program for anybody being interested in science. The Walther Meißner Institute works on topical problems of low temperature research. In talks and demonstration experiments, an insight into current research projects in the fields of superconductivity, low temperature research, and nanotechnology is given. In addition, our facilities for developing new thin film material systems and crystal growth can be visited.
