GCHQ Quantum Information Processing Research Fellowship

In 2004, the GCHQ proposes to sponsor an EPSRC Advanced Research Fellowship to carry out a programme of experimental research to support the development of stable and controllable static qubits as building blocks for further quantum computation experiment. The successful Fellow will be expected to interact with the Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration (IRC) in Quantum Information Processing. Candidates wishing to submit an application for this Fellowship should apply in the normal way, but include a covering letter stating they want to be considered for this opportunity. These applications will be processed in the normal way, and be assessed in competition with other Advanced Research Fellowship candidates. GCHQ will support one high quality application which they feel best meets its interests.
